This page explains how to configure Kafka connection settings.

The fields used for Kafka configuration are shown in the table below.

FieldDescription

Enabled

Indicates the active state of the setting.

Name 

The name of the setting to be made.
DescriptionDescription can be entered.

Properties List

It is the list containing the Property, Type and Value fields. The properties list must contain at least one record.

Topic Name

Topic name information. This field is required.

Enable Secure

When activated, the Protocol Type, Keystore and Truststore fields are enabled.

Protocol Type

The protocol type is selected. Options: TLSv1.3, TLSv1.2, TLSv1.1, TLSv1, SSLv3.

Keystore

Keystore files can be loaded in JKS or PFX format.

Truststore

Truststore files can be loaded in JKS or PFX format.

Enabled Fields

With this setting, the fields to be sent to Kafka in the transaction log can be selected.

Size limitations can be set for long text fields in the logs.
