Administration > Portal > Support Packages > Support Package Type page is where you define the categories of support packages.

This page is used to manage the categories that can be selected in the “Type” field when creating support packages. Predefined types appear in the dropdown menu when creating a new support package and enable the categorization of packages.

When you want to create a new type, you create it with “+ Create”. The description and usage are below.

Name 

  • The name of the support package type. It should be short and descriptive. 

Description

  • A detailed description of the support package type.
  •  Explains to users what this type provides.

Example: “Developer Tools Support Package provides essential tools and resources to entrepreneurs and developers.”

The categories defined on the Support Package Type page (Developer Tools, Enterprise Integration, Startup, etc.) are presented as a selection list in the “Support Packages” section when creating a new support package. You can categorize your packages by creating multiple types as needed. For information on using the Support Packages page, refer to the Support Packages documentation.
