The Import Wizard enables global policy creation in Apinizer by importing the file that contains exported policy settings from another project or other environment. Let's examine its use through sample scenarios;

  • Let's assume that there are two Apinizer applications installed in two different environments, production and test, physically due to access restriction.The production environment serves the clients, and the test environment serves the software developers.The policy applied to API Proxy in the test environment must also be applied in the production environment.To move the configuration settings of the policy; First, the API Proxy in the test environment is exported.In the next step, this policy can be applied to API Proxy by importing the policy to the relevant project in the production environment.
  • The same policy may be desired to be applied on different projects. For this, the policy should be exported in the project it is set and imported in the desired project.

Policy configuration files with the extension ".json" or ".zip" can be imported. All or some of them can be selected when importing the policy.
